Wing

NOTE: I’m going to Tokyo for 2 weeks in March, for a real quick Japanese language course at an all-year-round school. I’m terrified, because I’ve never set foot outside Europe.

This poem, which I’ve written a while ago, seems appropriate for the occasion and it very accurately describes my own very gauche attempt at understanding a thing or two, as someone who one day decided to study Japanese on her own simply because she felt like it and said “why not?”

はね – hane – 羽 – feather or wing
